The curtain rod was placed flush with the ceiling cornice which gives it alignment and a pleasing aesthetic. As a result the curtain fabric completely covers the arched window frame. The curtain pole is fairly longer than the actual door which gives the illusion that the door is wider.

The brackets were installed flush with the window frame, and since the curtain fabric covers the entire window frame, it looks beautiful.
